Lily Desk, in fifteen seconds.

The research desk that comes with private on-premise AI from Black Lily. Ask one question across every document you load, and every figure in the answer cites its page.

Watch the 15-second Lily Desk demo (MP4). Recorded in Lily Desk on three fictional offering documents from our benchmark. The answer text was scripted for the recording and checked against the cited pages. Playback is sped up.

Questions, answered.

What is Lily Desk?
The software on the box. Black Lily installs an open-weight model on hardware you own, and Lily Desk is what your staff works in: chat across your whole library and SEC filings, projects, scheduled jobs, and dashboards, with named accounts and permissions you configure.
Where does our data go?
Documents, prompts, and outputs stay on your network. The model runs on the box, so it keeps answering with no internet connection and everything already indexed stays searchable. The connectors (Slack, Box, Dropbox, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Salesforce, and SEC EDGAR) and the optional market data feed are inbound connections: content comes in, and nothing about your documents goes out.
Is a local model accurate enough?
On document work, measurably. In our own benchmark, Qwen2.5-14B on a single 12 GB consumer GPU extracted twenty investment terms with citations from three private fund offering documents at 98.3% field accuracy, against 100% for Claude Opus 5, and neither fabricated a term. For frontier reasoning on novel problems an open-weight model is still behind the best hosted models, and we tell you which of your workflows fall on which side before you buy anything.
What happens when it is wrong?
You can see it. Every sourced figure is cited to a document and page, and one click opens that page beside the answer. When the sources do not contain the answer, Lily is instructed to say so and name the document that would settle it, rather than guess.
Does it make us compliant?
No, and nothing we sell does. Compliance is your program. What a deployment changes is the factual picture your policies describe: where the documents sit, who can open them, and what leaves the building.
What does it take to get one?
A 30-minute call, then a walkthrough of where your documents live. You leave with a part list and a number. A deployment is typically four to eight weeks from scoping to daily use, with hardware lead time the longest single item, and it includes installation, connectors, staff training, and monthly monitoring.

How a deployment works end to end: private on-premise AI.

Black Lily is an AI implementation consultancy. We install private on-premise AI on hardware you own, for hedge funds, registered investment advisers, and family offices whose best documents are the ones they cannot send to an outside service, and we turn paper, handwriting, and inconsistent spreadsheets into structured data your systems can import. Founded by William Dorman, Founder & CEO.
